About

Ron Man

Ron Man joined Greater Europe Mission in 2000 and developed the Department of Worship Resources to supplement, on a pan-European level, the field based worship ministries of other Greater Europe Mission missionaries (notable in France, Germany, Spain, and Romania). Ron comes out of a varied background which included both musical (University of Maryland) and theological studies (Dallas Theological Seminary); both pastoral and worship ministry in local churches in the U.S. and in Europe; and experience in and a heart for Europe coming from ten years of residence on the continent at four different times over the last thirty-five years.

Ron teaches in Bible schools, seminaries and churches across Europe, and also in the Middle East, South America and Africa. He  has a burden for the American church as well, as struggles over worship continue to divide so many congregations. His passion is for clear Biblical teaching on the foundational principles of worship as the proper focus for churches wrestling with worship issues - rather than the predominating preoccupation with issues of style and taste. Seeking to help churches find unifying common ground in the midst of such debates, Ron is available for seminars, conferences, and sermons on the Biblical understanding of worship. See the Articles page on this website for examples of the content. He may be contacted at RMan @ gemission.com. Greater Europe Mission

Greater Europe Mission exists "to assist the peoples of Europe in building up the body of Christ so that every person in Europe is within reach of a witnessing fellowship." Our 400 missionaries do this through evangelism, discipleship, church planting and theological education in 29 countries. Over 750 million people live in Europe, and in most countries less than 1% are evangelical Christians. Many people have accepted the idea that there are no absolutes. Under Communism, the people of Eastern Europe were expected to be atheists. But the collapse of Communism and influence of post-modern thought have created an unprecedented openness to spiritual issues and discussions. The opportunity to impact our world for Christ through Europe has never been greater. LINK TO GEM’S WEBSITE
