Worship Resources International

Presented twice on the morning of December 13 at First Evangelical Church in Memphis, Tennessee, this was our twenty-first annual presentation of a Lessons and Carols service, a traditional Anglican celebration that perfectly reflects the biblical paradigm of God’s Revelation followed by man’s Response that underlies all true worship). The format lends itself wonderfully to using a diversity of musical styles; and we also allow ourselves the freedom to vary the readings themselves somewhat from year to year. This year the first service readers were all internationals from our church, reading in their mother tongues (with the English in the printed program); the second service readers were from across the age spectrum in our congregation.
